Theatre Night in Merrickville -- Deathtrap
Ira Levin is perhaps best known for thrillers such as Rosemary’s Baby and The Stepford Wives, but Deathtrap rightly deserves its record for the longest-running Broadway comedic-thriller in history. The story revolves around an aging playwright, Sidney Bruhl who is struggling with his diminishing success. The script is frequently hilarious and delivers as much double-0crossing amusement as one could expect from a theatrical murder mystery.
